At Croco Orthodontics, we provide effective, efficient orthodontic treatments in a fun and inviting atmosphere. As a family-oriented practice, Dr. Matthew Croco and our staff strive to involve patients and their families in all aspects of the treatment we provide from their first visit. We want to know your goals in seeking orthodontic treatment, and your activities and lifestyle. That way we can create an individualized plan that works for you and your needs. Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Matthew Croco grew up in Eastern Iowa, having lived in both West Branch and Amana, Iowa. He resides in Coralville with his wife, Liz, and their three children: Samantha, Dillon, and Kathryn. Dr. Croco enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as an array of outdoor activities such as golf and obstacle course racing competitions. He is an avid sports enthusiast and Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Dr. Croco graduated from Grinnell College and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Masters of Science degree, and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He has exceeded the standards set by the Board of American Orthodontics and received Board Certification for his outstanding treatment results, an accomplishment only 25% of orthodontists achieve. Dr. Croco shares his expertise as a part-time faculty member at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and his commitment to continued education keeps him on the forefront of the latest treatment techniques and technologies available.
It has been Dr. Croco’s privilege to treat patients from Coralville, North liberty, Iowa City, Mt. Pleasant, Williamsburg and a large number of other surrounding communities since 2005. Dr. Croco thoroughly enjoys orthodontics and loves making a difference in the lives of his patients. He is committed to providing patients with the highest quality orthodontics.

Meet Our Staff
As a treatment coordinator I meet with our new patients at their initial consultation. I’ve been with Dr. Croco since 2010, but I have over 20 years of experience in the dental field. My favorite thing about orthodontics is making the patients happy and watching their smiles transform. The thing I like best about working with Dr. Croco is seeing his enthusiasm for orthodontics and his ability to make our patients laugh. I’m a native of Seattle, WA and have lived in Iowa City since 2008. I have a son and daughter who manage to keep me very busy. In my free time, I love spending time with my children, family, and friends, and when time allows, exercising.
Hello, my name is Sandy. I am a Certified Orthodontic Assistant. My duties include chair-side assisting, taking x-rays, and working in the lab. I’ve been with Croco Orthodontics since 2008. My favorite thing about orthodontics is building relationships with our patients and helping to create beautiful smiles. I enjoy working with Dr. Croco because he is easy to get along with and has a great sense of humor. I always look forward to seeing our patients and hearing about all the new things happening in their lives. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Mark. We live in Solon with our daughter, Karrigan, our son Maddux, and Herky, our Havanese. I love to be outside, exercise, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends. We also enjoy going to Iowa Hawkeye sporting events and St. Louis Cardinal games.
